Private aviation pickup is its own world. Different airport. Different pace. Different expectations. If you are flying private into London for the first time, here is what to expect from the moment your aircraft lines up on approach to the moment your chauffeur car pulls away.
FBO stands for Fixed Base Operator. It is the private aviation terminal: a small, calm building separate from any commercial airport, where private jet passengers handle arrival, immigration, and customs. The big four around London are Farnborough (Surrey), Luton (TAG, Signature, Harrods Aviation), Stansted (Diamond Hangar, Inflite), and Biggin Hill (Kent).
At every FBO we have a designated chauffeur waiting area, usually inside the lounge. We arrive 30 minutes before your aircraft is wheels-down. If we have authorisation (most operators provide on request) we can collect you airside, at the steps of the aircraft. This is most common at Farnborough and Biggin Hill where ramp access is easier.

Most clients prefer the Range Rover Autobiography for the discreet pull-up at the lounge entrance, or the Mercedes S-Class for executive travel. For groups arriving on a charter, the V-Class handles seven passengers and luggage comfortably.
Many private jet arrivals at Farnborough are continuing to country estates, Cotswolds, or directly to a meeting in central London. We can sequence the chauffeur with the aircraft so you walk from one to the other in under 10 minutes. VIP routing with NDAs is standard for high-profile arrivals.
